| | “I tasted a Recioto from the Tedeschi estate which was nearly forty years old. It still had a deep attractive colour: an intense cherry red with just a hint of rust. The round, firm, dried-cherry fruit showed a suggestion of wild mint. There was an undertone of blackberry and nutmeg spiciness throughout the long, attractive finish.
