TEDESCHI Marne 180 Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2018 – Score: 93

An expressive red, revealing a juicy range of sun-dried cherry and strawberry fruit flavors layered with creamy tannins and citrus peel acidity. Well-spiced and lightly zesty throughout, with savory accents of stemmy herbs and tobacco driving the chewy finish. Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Rossignola.  — AN (Issue June15&30, 2022)

TEDESCHI Maternigo Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Riserva 2016 – Score: 92

A tightly meshed, full-bodied red, with rich and saturated flavors of macerated blackberry and black cherry fruit creating a juicy cloak around dense, fine tannins. The sweet fruit is nicely counterbalanced by savory threads of dried sage, menthol, smoke and spice, which are woven throughout and linger on the finish. Decant or cellar this in the short term.. — AN (Issue July 31, 2022)
