Enthusiastic reviews by the prestigious magazine Robert Parker Wine Advocate

Awards-News

On August 14th, Monica Larner, the influent wine critic and writer who writes about Italian wines for the prestigious magazine Robert Parker Wine Advocate,  published a report on Italian wines:  Veneto: New Releases (Amarone & Soave). The concise report, consistent with her style, featured 64 wines “from some of the best estates as well as personal favorites” and included 5 wines from the Tedeschi winery. A very gratifying report for us!

Monica writes: The Tedeschi family has completed a winery-enlargement project, and they have added a bigger wine library to hold back vintages for late release. They have also created a new white wine made with a blend of Garganega, Riesling Renano and Chardonnay.

The scores are very encouraging and at the top of the rankings for wines of the territory.

La Fabriseria Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Riserva 2016 – 95/100

Capitel Monte Olmi Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Riserva 2018 – 94/100

Marne 180 Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2021 – 93/100

La Fabriseria Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore 2021 – 93/100

Maternigo Valpolicella DOC Ripasso Superiore 2021– 89/100

The Valpolicella Classico Superiore La Fabriseria received a special mention: This is definitely one of the more important interpretations of the Valpolicella Classico Superiore classification.

Thank you, Monica Larner, we are honored to have received this prestigious recognition.
